A Wine Lover's Paradise - Enjoy Both Napa and Sonoma Valley's in One Day!

All Wine Tasting Fees INCLUDED in tour price!

Unwind and soak up the stunning scenery as we journey north into Napa and Sonoma Valley, two of the most prized wine regions of Northern California. During your venture, enjoy wine tasting and exclusive estate tours of three of our favored wineries: Madonna Estate, Sutter Home, and Sebastiani Vineyards.

Since 1922, the Bartolucci Family has consistently created a perfect marriage of grapes and wine at Madonna Estate. Located in the world-renowned Carneros region, an area known for its fertile lands and cool climate, the Bartolucci family has found success with their organically grown grapes and Estate Bottled wines. In addition to practicing natural farming methods, they also combine traditional and modern wine making techniques. As the third-oldest wine making family in the Napa Valley, it is important to them that they continue the commitment to farm naturally and preserve the wine making traditions of past generations.

When the Trinchero family bought the Sutter Home Winery in 1948, they had a vision, a passion, and apparently, an insight into consumer tastes. In the early 1970s, Sutter Home started a trend when the company created White Zinfandel, introducing a new, sweeter flavor profile. They changed the way Americans enjoyed wine by offering them high-quality varietals at an affordable price. By the 1980s and 1990s, Sutter Home became a household name and the second largest independent family-run winery in the United States.

During a lunch break, we'll make a stop at Historic Downtown Sonoma Square where you will enjoy leisure time to explore. Both destinations afford a wonderful variety of eclectic dining options and one-of-a-kind boutique shops and local art galleries.

With over a century of wine making experience in Sonoma, Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery focuses on crafting small lots of premium wines from Sonoma County. Today, Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery advances its record of acclaim under the guidance of vintner and entrepreneur Bill Foley, who acquired the winery in 2008. As part of Foley Family Wines, Sebastiani will maintain its commitment to producing singular wines from the appellations of Sonoma County.

At each winery, you will spend approximately 1-hour for tour and tasting. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a scenic drive over the Golden Gate Bridge on your way back into San Francisco.

The Wine Country Tour is approximately 9 hours and is available daily at 9:00 am. The price of the tour includes the wine tasting and touring fees at each winery. Wineries subject to change on holidays or due to special events.

Lunch time is allotted between wineries. (Winery schedule subject to change pending private events at wineries). Lunch cost not included.

Optional Lunch Add-on:
Add lunch onto your day trip with a stop at a local favorite right in the middle of the historic Square in Downtown Sonoma. Enjoy items from a variety of Californian-inspired dishes ranging from Sandwiches, Pasta, and Seafood.
(Optional lunch - $30.00 per person; Includes appetizer, entree, beverage, tax & gratuities.)

"Great Way to Start Your Visit to San Francisco"

I recently took the San Francisco Grand City Tour by Tower Tours and the tour guide, Adolfo, made it very enjoyable; being a native San Franciscan added a personal touch to his descriptions of the landmarks and stops. The Golden Gate Bridge was our first stop and we were glad to be in a coach bus because we saw an open air bus next to us and the people were freezing. The Lands End Lookout wasn’t that great but it offered a bathroom break. The drive through Golden Gate Park was beautiful and provided some ideas for a follow up visit. The final stop was at Twin Peaks and the view of San Francisco and the bay was spectacular. I’d definitely recommend this tour, especially the first day of your visit because it provides a good layout of the city and provides some ideas for things to do in the following days.

This was a great tour! Our guide Adolpho was very entertaining and knowledgeable. He had a great sense of humor and made the trip extra special. The drive across the Golden Gate Bridge is nice and the woods seem like the most peaceful place I've been in years. Very worth it - ask for Adolpho!

"Monterey/Carmel Day Tour was great!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

Our hotel suggested we book with Tower Tours and I'm so glad we did. We took a smaller bus (capacity about 40) but our tour only had 16 to Monterey Bay and Carmel for the day. We were picked up at our hotel by a smaller transport bus and taken to our bus for the day. The bus was very clean, new and very comfortable. Our guide, Patrick, spoke and gave us info but also gave us lots of time to just relax and watch the scenery. He was fun and helpful but I also felt very safe and comfortable at all times with him! During our tour we chose to upgrade our tickets to include the Monterey Bay Aquarium. My family got through it in about an hour but it was worth the upgrade and a wonderful Aquarium. Because we had a smaller tour our guide was able to let us see some extra things and my kids got to get their feet in the Pacific twice, see a massive pumpkin replica and several scenic lookouts! This tour is wonderful and well worth the price. Check with them because if you book multiple yours they give discounts! Totally recommend!

"Monterey/Carmel Tour a big hit."

My wife and I took the all day tour from San Fransisco to Monterey/Carmel in Feb 17 with Tower Tours. The pick up was very convenient about a block from our hotel in Union Square. The route needed to be adjusted due to recent landslides so we missed a little of the Pacific Coast drive however the new route taken by the driver kept this to a minimum. Our driver and guide was terrific and provided just the right mix of information and entertainment and most importantly, silence. He was expert on the area and we saw all the highlights of the drive and stopped at the key points for just the right amount of time, with lunch (not included) in Monterey. It is a spectacular drive and a must see if you are in the area. The seascapes, woods, houses, golf courses and the towns of Monterey and Carmel are delightful. It is a long day returning at about 8.00pm but well worth the effort.
