Description

from Ultimate Wine Tasting Tour to Napa & Sonoma Valley
A Wine Lover's Paradise - Enjoy Both Napa and Sonoma Valley's in One Day!

All Wine Tasting Fees INCLUDED in tour price!

Unwind and soak up the stunning scenery as we journey north into Napa and Sonoma Valley, two of the most prized wine regions of Northern California. During your venture, enjoy wine tasting and exclusive estate tours of three of our favored wineries: Madonna Estate, Sutter Home, and Sebastiani Vineyards.

Since 1922, the Bartolucci Family has consistently created a perfect marriage of grapes and wine at Madonna Estate. Located in the world-renowned Carneros region, an area known for its fertile lands and cool climate, the Bartolucci family has found success with their organically grown grapes and Estate Bottled wines. In addition to practicing natural farming methods, they also combine traditional and modern wine making techniques. As the third-oldest wine making family in the Napa Valley, it is important to them that they continue the commitment to farm naturally and preserve the wine making traditions of past generations.

When the Trinchero family bought the Sutter Home Winery in 1948, they had a vision, a passion, and apparently, an insight into consumer tastes. In the early 1970s, Sutter Home started a trend when the company created White Zinfandel, introducing a new, sweeter flavor profile. They changed the way Americans enjoyed wine by offering them high-quality varietals at an affordable price. By the 1980s and 1990s, Sutter Home became a household name and the second largest independent family-run winery in the United States.

During a lunch break, we'll make a stop at Historic Downtown Sonoma Square where you will enjoy leisure time to explore. Both destinations afford a wonderful variety of eclectic dining options and one-of-a-kind boutique shops and local art galleries.

With over a century of wine making experience in Sonoma, Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery focuses on crafting small lots of premium wines from Sonoma County. Today, Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery advances its record of acclaim under the guidance of vintner and entrepreneur Bill Foley, who acquired the winery in 2008. As part of Foley Family Wines, Sebastiani will maintain its commitment to producing singular wines from the appellations of Sonoma County.

At each winery, you will spend approximately 1-hour for tour and tasting. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a scenic drive over the Golden Gate Bridge on your way back into San Francisco.

The Wine Country Tour is approximately 9 hours and is available daily at 9:00 am. The price of the tour includes the wine tasting and touring fees at each winery. Wineries subject to change on holidays or due to special events.

Lunch time is allotted between wineries. (Winery schedule subject to change pending private events at wineries). Lunch cost not included.

Optional Lunch Add-on:
Add lunch onto your day trip with a stop at a local favorite right in the middle of the historic Square in Downtown Sonoma. Enjoy items from a variety of Californian-inspired dishes ranging from Sandwiches, Pasta, and Seafood.
(Optional lunch - $30.00 per person; Includes appetizer, entree, beverage, tax & gratuities.)

We were very impressed with Tower Tours. Our driver, Patrick, was extremely friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. He has a great sense of humour and did his best to make sure we enjoyed the day. We were even picked up and dropped at our hotel. The drive is very scenic and the Napa Valley is beautiful. We enjoyed wine tasting at two delightful wineries. We then drove to Sonoma and spend two hours wandering around this picturesque town. Another wine tasting in Sonoma followed by a relaxing drive back to San Francisco. Everything about the day was wonderful and we travelled with a lovely group of people. We highly recommend Tower Tours as excellent value for money and a professionally run organization. The trip to Napa and Sonoma is very highly recommended.

"Muir Woods, Sausalito Bus Tour, optional ferry back to Fishermans Wharf."

We booked this tour at the last minute when another tour cancelled us with little notice. It was an excellent tour. We were picked up at our motel at 8:30 am on time and taken to the Tour Operators office in Fishermans Wharf were we got all our tickets for the day. After a short wait we boarded a bus to Muir Woods. The driver Charles H. Was great and gave us some great history lectures throughout the trip! It took about an hour to get to Muir Woods. We were given 90 minutes to explore Muir Woods which was ample time to walk deep into the Park and take two different paths in and out including one of the more challenging hillside trails. It wasn’t enough time to walk all the trails but it was enough to see plenty! We met back at the bus and Charles drove us to Sausalito with another great talk. We then had several hours to shop and explore Sausalito’s shops and scenery and had a great lunch at one of many restauants there. We chose a 2:30 pm Ferry back to Pier 41 but could have stayed in Sausalito much longer if we wanted to. We could have also stayed on the bus with Charles and rode back to Fishermans Wharf but I don’t recommend skipping Sausalito! Great day! Some other Tour Operators don’t include the Muir Woods or Ferry Tickets in thier price so keep that in mind when shopping! Tower Tours was great!!

My husband and I booked two tours with Incredible Adventures. The first was to Yosemite and the second was to Muir Woods. We had two different guides for each trip. Our guide for Yosemite was Robert. He was friendly, informative, and helpful. As this is a long trip he spoke about the various areas we went through.Half way we stopped for lunch. He gav us options about what we could buy.One was a grocery store that you could purchase salads and deli sandwiches. We chose to buy the ingredients and make our own.As you could not go back to the van once we reached Yosemite he offered to wait while we prepared our food .Once at the park he provided maps and suggested the area we should explore .We had three hours. On the way back he stopped for dinner and again made suggestions.Since our tour ran on time we stopped at the Bay Bridge for a quick night time view of the bridge. Our second tour was to Muir Woods .Our driver was Charles Hightower(low gear). He was also very nice and very interesting. He also had a great sense of humor. At Muir Woods he also gave us suggestions about how to see the woods in the time allotted. This was a half day tour, the second half was a city tour.We had Charles for this tour also.He was very informative on this tour as well. My only thing I wished I had done was book the wine tour instead of the city tour but that was my mistake.
