"Excellent way to tour SFO"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed December 13, 2018 NEW
We have never operate a Segway before and were quite apprehensive about running around SFO roads on one. We were so glad that we took the plunge and it turned out to be the best time in our 12 days LA / SFO trip. The training was easy and adequate to instill confidence. Our guide Cass was a great fun and we learned a lot about SFO from her. She is also very humorous and made us laughed a lot. The two hours plus simply flew past and we were so reluctant to end the tour. Segway covers large ground that will take probably a day or two to cover on foot. Will definitely do it again the next time if we are in SFO!

"Amazing Sunset Tour with Cass!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed December 10, 2018 NEW
I turned a part-business trip into San Francisco into a fun day and a half to celebrate my daughter's birthday and she wanted to do a Segway tour. We selected the Sunset Chinatown, Little Italy, Fisherman's Wharf tour. We had the BEST time with Cass and the two other very friendly tour members and will definitely consider this type of thing again with Electric Tour Company. We had just the right amount of breaks, a learned a TON (well, the kids knew a bit more than I did, but I learned SOOO much!). Would give six or seven stars if possible, we had an AMAZING time. Was so nice that they had gloves and beanies for us to add on to our layers just in case as it was certainly chilly.

Are there physical limitations for who can and cannot ride a Segway?
We offer a 45-50 minute training session for all Segway tour guests. However, riding and navigating a Segway is not an ideal situation for individuals with or a history of mobility issues.

All guests who wish to participate in the tour must be able to easily and quickly step on and off without assistance. This movement is similar to ascending and descending stairs without the use of a handrail.

Pregnant women are not allowed to participate in the tour due to the risk of falling when navigating the Segway. Due to the same risk, individuals above the age of 70 are not allowed to participate.

In an effort to ensure all guests are safe throughout the entire tour experience, we require that all guests must be age 12 or older and weigh at least 100 lbs.

I need to cancel my reservation. What is the process for doing so?
Any cancellations made by the listed cancellation date will receive a FULL REFUND with absolutely NO CANCELLATION FEES. Any reservations past the cancellation date cannot be changed or canceled.

Is parking available?
No. There are no onsite parking facilities available. It is recommended that guests park at one of the many lots and garages nearby or utilize public transportation.

What should I wear for the tour?
