We are experienced riders, so we signed up for the Advanced Tour--Crooked Streets, There were specific requirements posted which we met. We had a family of four on our tour. The kids were NOT experienced and clearly one was underweight if not both. But they did OK. The parents were awful riders--VERY dangerous--we had to do "AVOIDANCE MANEUVERS" for our own safety. Instead of returning them to base camp for a learners tour, the guide allowed them to continue. It was painful for us since we had to watch out for them. The other couple collided with each other and face planted and the husband stalled his Segway three times--clearly not advanced riders. Why bother with requirements if you do not follow them! This was an opportunity for a great tour that was made miserable by inexperienced riders. BEWARE!

This tour was a blast. Our entire family road thru the streets of San Fran like pro's! The electric tour company taught all of us how to ride the Segways in less than 30 minutes. What a great crew! Be sure to ask for Brandon, he's a rock star!

John, our tour guide, did an AMAZING job training us how to ride our segways and showing us sites around the city. What a great way to see the city. We will definitely do this and/or the more advanced tour next time we are in SF. Highly recommend to everyone!

"Great experience!"

We had an awesome experience. It was our first time on a segway. We felt that the training was adequate and staff were friendly and definitely concerned about safety. We caught on quickly and did not have any issues navigating through the streets. Instructor provides ear buds and has a mic system so everyone can hear instructions and tour commentary. Definitely recommend this company! The only thing were were unhappy with was the seemingly fake recommendation of the tour guide's "favorite" pizza restaurant. We passed by a different segway group later and heard the guide giving the exact same speech. Hmm... coincidence?
