I took this cruise around San Francisco Bay on 02/17/18. It lasts 1 hour and takes you out to the Golden Gate Bridge, underneath it and back to port. It is a narrated recording, but it's interesing to listen too. The time on this cruise is just about right. Bring a jacket, because it can get cold. Adult ticket is $33. Senior is $26. I recommend it.

We biked from SF to Sausalito through the Golden Gate, had a fantastic trip. We were warned on purchasing the tickets for the ferry in advance which we did and getting early which we also did for getting to our dinner booking. Afterwards got to the line 25 min before the boat time of departure pretty advanced in the line. There is something like a mafia in the organization of this. The organizers made all the people, for no reason, skip most of the line by packing them forward and at the same time offering taxis for the ones that won’t make it back at an outrageous cost. Apparently it is a common thing to be left out of the boat due to capacity, so if you have tickets or a booking for anything you’ll most likely be willing to pay to get back. By packing everybody to the front with no respect to the line everyone that got early miss their advantage of getting early thus reducing you chances to get in. At the same time, they offer the services of Taxi Drivers for the ones that would not make it, calling out that they have no interest in these Taxis. Additionally to this, the boat arrived late for pick up, and you did not have to purchase your ticket in advance, as these were sold inside the boat. We almost did not make it, very annoying.

"Spoilt by unpleasant member of staff"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

As a Bay ferry service, it was perfectly acceptable. Being a first-time visitor to Angel Island, Tiburon and Sausalito, some kind of commentary would have been nice. Unfortunately, upon the arrival of the return ferry, we were greeted on the quay by a very curt and abrupt male member of staff. Seemingly, there was an issue about acceptability of certain tickets. This member of staff stated what tickets were accepted and then brusquely said that he would not be answering questions. Very unwelcoming.

We went to see the fleet week air show. It was a great experience and I highly recommend. It was affordable and gave us a great view without having to fight crowds. Food was provided and there was plenty of seating.

"Worth the reasonable cost!"

I took the escape from the rock 1.5h tour. This was one of the best tours I’ve been on. Go early and it’s not so crowded. I went on the 1130am tour. The narrative is amazing and learned new things about Alcatraz, San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. Reasonable price for the time involved. Great employees and staff.
