"Exhilarating ride on the bay"

This was a fun 30 minute ride through the bay, under the Bay Bridge, with 360 degree turns and stops and starts. I was prepared for getting wet based on reading other reviews. Luckily I brought my own raincoat as they did not pass out plastic windbreakers. The first half of the ride only a few people on the outside seats got wet and they stopped the boat so you can get good photos. Then they had each side of the boat cheer and whoever was the loudest got to decided which side got the most wet. We lost and got pretty wet so I was glad for the jacket. I was parked near Pier 39 so was able to leave the wet jackets in our car as the weather was nice and we didn't need them.

My 7 yo daughter and I rode this with a local friend. It was awesome. I was tired, my daughter was having a melt down as we waited in line. Whipping around the bay listening to rock-n-roll put us both in a better mood. It turned our day around. I get mild motion sickness and hate roller coasters - but had no issues with this ride. HOT TIP: you get a discount if you have a used ticket so ask a rider getting off the boat if you can use their ticket to get the discount.

"Fun ride!"

If you are a citypass holder, I highly recommend you take this ride over the milder cruise. It's shorter, but it's so much more fun! I'd rate it at the same thrill level as a typical roller coaster ride at a typical theme park. But with RocketBoat, you get to take in all the great scenery and listen to the rock music from '60s - '90s. What's more, be prepared to get soaked in salty ocean water. If you insist on staying dry, ask the crew for a poncho. You will love it!

"The RocketBoat ROCKS!"

It's difficult to miss the RocketBoat when visiting Pier 39 in San Francisco. It is a big, beautiful, brightly colored speed boat that just screams fun! The weather in San Francisco today was gloriously sunny, and a perfect day for an exhilarating power boat ride on the bay. The RocketBoat may not be considered relaxing, but it is OUTSTANDING EXCITEMENT! Having said that, the ride was completely safe. Our passengers included the elderly and young children all of whom seemed to enjoy themselves. My wife and I loved it! Finally, one important point to note. You will probably get wet during the voyage, so wear a waterproof jacket and choose a sunny day.

"Fun Ride!!"

My 18 year old son and I opted for this over the cruise tour. It was a lot of fun, but we didn't get splashed or wet like I expected to happen after reading the reviews so I feel like our trip may have been a little tame compared to what could be. I'm sure it depends on the driver you get. It was a fun activity, good view of the city from the bay. I would recommend.
