We booked thru this tour provider for our Alcatraz/Muir Woods trips as well as a full day trip to Yosemite. Our guide for the day to Yosemite was Ben. He was a great guide, both humorous and informative. The trip to Yosemite was very last minute, as we didn't decide to go until the afternoon of the day before and they were still able to accommodate us. It was an early morning (we were picked up from our hotel at 5:50 AM), but we did make a stop at a grocery store for breaks/supplies about 1 1/2 hr into the trip and we stopped at the same place for a quick break/dinner on the way back. We got back to San Francisco about 8:30 PM. Well worth the trip.

After the numerous options available for a woods & wineries tour day, I decided on extranomical tours given the outstanding reviews. Thrilled to say I made the right decision. We have experienced SF & the Bay area prior, completing most "touristy" activities (highly recommend the Alcatraz night tour & GG Bike ride), so this was something slightly outside of the area, and different. The directions were concise; pick-up was prompt at the selected hotels in Union Square, and the drive was nothing short of scenic and amusing thanks to our tour guide Roman! He truly made the trip 100x more enjoyable with his technical knowledge, historical facts, humor and wit. I have nothing but rave reviews and strong recommendations that every one recommend Roman as their tour guide; he will not disappoint! The initial stop was at Muir Woods; limited time, but I thought it was just enough to enjoy the surrounding nature. Recommend taking the hike to the right past the entrance. Roman ensured that we were to follow schedule to guarantee that we obtain most out of this trip. This was followed by a drive to Sonoma, during which he educated the crowd on basic grapes, and wine culture. The wineries chosen were remarkable; extremely friendly, educating and the wine was superb! Pitstop in Sonoma Square for a pre-ordered lunch was well worth the additional money as they not only provided three course meal, but wine-pairings with each. Onward to Napa, which was nothing short of beautiful! All in all, I would recommend this tour (specifically with Roman) if you're looking to explore outside the city for a day. The timing was perfect, and the unscheduled pitstop at the Golden Gate Overlook towards the end of the trip was icing on the cake. Thank you Roman for such an enjoyable experience!

Did the 1 day Yosemite tour. Denise was the best guide sharing so much information. We stopped for photos and to take in the scenery several times. The falls, cliffs and sequoia hike were breathtaking.

What a great experience...we took the full day trip to visit Yosemite National Park. Our tour guide, Phil, was excellent...he made extra stops for photos and to see the sights of Yosemite. We all loved this time...truly a memorable experience.

The guide/driver's English was not good at all. He was struggling speaking. We were struggling trying to understand. The knowledge delivered about the Park was less than par. AC in the Bus was not working well.
