If you’re up for a full day of travelling and touring - 5.55am to 8.00pm - and want to see some incredible scenery, this is an amazing tour. Our guide was Jacob (dashing, very funny) and he went out of his way to provide interesting historical information about the area and the valley itself. It was great to have his infectious enthusiasm guiding us through the day, and he added two extra stops into the itinerary to show us more of the park and San Francisco. You start with hiking to see the giant sequoias which is definitely harder on the way back up — but it’s a beautiful walk. Then off to see the valley itself, with multiple excellent views of El Capitan, Half Dome and the Three Brothers, as well as two beautiful waterfalls. Jacob made sure everyone had the photos they wanted and was more than willing to provide extra information about the park to anyone who wanted it. The only issue we found was a very last minute change of pickup location - we had been told we'd be picked up at our hotel but were emailed the day before informing us of a major change. A little more warning would have been welcome. Apart from that, I highly recommend Extranomical to anyone wanting to see Yosemite National Park

"Excellent tour company, delivers as promised"

Our first experience was while planning with their tour co ordinator Mr. Geoff King, who showed tremendous patience in responding to multiple queries raised by us over a period of couple of weeks through multiple emails. Second thumbs up for this tour company is when they delivered what they promised in that, the itinerary, the timelines and the professionalism of the tour guide was un-paralleled. We had taken the total Yosemite Experience and Muir Redwoods and Wine Country Tours. Both tours were great but we had a better experience with the driver of the Muir Redwoods tour and would not mind a second tour with him (Steven). We found the tour guide for Yosemite (don't remember the German guy's name) focussed a lot more on his tips than explaining the views that we were passing through. Quality and cleanliness of the buses were v good. Kudos to the company for our overall experience.

"It started of well!"

We absolutely loved the tour to Yosemite National Park and the giant sequoias. Our bus driver/guide was amazing. She was very informative, enthusiastic and we enjoyed the music paired with the different parts of the tour. The bus was very comfortable and clean. The audio was perfect throughout our trip there. There was a rest stop half way there with the opportunity to pick up lunch (do pick up lunch! Food options are a little limited in the valley as you would expect!) The first stop was the giant sequoias. The driver gave us some information and left us to it which suited us as we like to go off and do our own thing. I can appreciate this could be an issue for people looking for a more guided walking tour. We just made use of all the informational signage. The second part of the tour we were handed out maps and given some good suggestions. You get dropped off right in the valley by Yosemite falls. We stayed one night at Yosemite Valley Lodge. I HIGHLY recommend staying there as it's close to the falls, various shorter hikes to Mirror Lake, Swinging Bridge etc. Other hotels are a bus ride away and will eat up your time exploring the valley. Also if you have dietary requirements - pack in advance. The local store had some good options but be prepared to eat microwave meals and kettle pot oats/noodles. The Lodge restaurant was really lacking. The food court was under restoration which limited dining even more. My main disappointment with our tour was that we were offloaded to another tour company for our return back due to "a mechanical issue", meaning a replacement smaller bus was being sent and there was no room for me and my partner. This was frustrating because we saw the bus we rode on (or a different bus of the same size) collect at 2.30pm as we were waiting for our 3pm bus with Incredible Adventures. The tour home wasn't up to the same quality as the tour there; the guide went through the same stuff we had already been talked through, the audio volume was a bit hit and miss and the bus wasn't of the same standard. We didn't get dropped off at the same pick up however Extranomical did offer to pay for an Uber to our hotel. This was also slightly problematic as we have English mobile phones with no data and we chose not to call them to save our phone bills. The guys at Incredible Adventures were very understanding and dropped us as close as they could to our hotel. We ended up getting public transport for the rest of the journey. I would recommend this tour ONLY if you were guaranteed the same tour operator on the way back. Other than that mishap, it was a great couple of days exploring such a beautiful place.

"Perfect combo for Muir Woods, Napa and Sonoma Valley"

Perfect combination of Muir Woods, Napa & Sonoma in a reasonable amout of time! Guide/driver is friendly and nice. Love the fact that we are left alone at the Woods, that allows the people part of the tour to go at their on pace, and perfect place for so (impossible to lose yourself, and many loops at different lengths). Winery visited were all different and were proving different informations and different type of wine.
