Visited the Wax Museum for the very first time. It looked like real people were standing around us and we took a LOT of selfies. We expected to stay for a short while but ended up there for a long time. The figures are beyond incredible and so life-like. In fact they were unbelievable. I recommend this place!

"Very cool, but expensive"

The figures are beyond unbelievable. The cost is high for the amount of time you can spend in there. It’s fun to see the people in there and take pictures with them.

"Pictures to download are NOT AVAILABLE! Total Bummer!"

My adult sons and their families were here for Thanksgiving week, and nine of us went to Madame Tussaud's in San Francisco (not quite enough for a group rate). It was EXPENSIVE but we thought it would be fun, and especially great to have a picture of all of us! Group pictures were taken on our way in, so we didn't think we needed to do our own. The place was not super crowded, so we were able to goof around and have a lot of fun posing with characters the kids knew, and explaining the significance of those they didn't know. The big disappointment, though, was the pictures. They were good shots that we saw on our way out, and I bought the big package that gave us some prints plus online access for downloading. DID NOT WORK! Two of us have tried to get downloads, starting about a week after our visit, and it says they are not available. Customer service for this site is in New Zealand. In response to our complaints, they say they will get back to us, but so far NOTHING. It really spoiled the whole visit for me to not be able to get the pictures of all of us that I was counting on.
