"Long wait, but great experience on a nice day"

My husband, mother, and I got the CityPass for our 3-day visit to San Francisco, so we took the 1-hour Bay tour. It was a sunny, fairly warm Saturday so Pier 39 was absolutely packed. Unfortunately, we had to wait in line for an hour after getting our tickets. It was a gorgeous day to be on the water, though. We sat on the benches along the side and then stood at the rail after we left the pier. The top of the bridge was shrouded in fog, but it was impressive nonetheless. We enjoyed watching the people kite sailing and kite surfing. We couldn't hear the guide over the PA system so we probably missed out on some fun facts, but the scenery and sunshine were the highlights of the trip anyway.

Citipass makes it cost effective. Grab a spot on the rail, as, if you sit down, someone will stand in front of you.

Quick on and off, we went to Sausalito and the trip was comfortable and quick. They offered food and drinks on the boat. Really liked the return times because you could choose the boat time you wanted to go back.

"A Nice Little Cruise"

I used my CityPass and tried out the 60 minute cruise to the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz and back. My first time ever being on a boat and I love it! A very spacious ship with a snack bar, restrooms and plenty of seating. There was an audio tour with historical facts playing, although hard to hear at times do to general noises from the ship and passengers. If you need to kill an hour or so then I highly recommend checking out this attraction.
